Very disappointing. well kind of. The maps are very good and just what I wanted however my biggest complaint which I didn't find out until I played around with the maps is that you can't upload the maps to your GPS.When you read the literature in determining to buy the maps it says it is compatible with my GPS. The reason I bought it was to upload the maps. I like the other reviewers had a problem figuring out how to load the software so I kept mashing buttons until I got it to work. After playing with it for about an hour I got it to work and understand to use it. You can't upload the maps only the tacks.
The install process doesn't completely auto install, theres 11 files. In fact they don't say anything on them except which numbered disc they are. Nice box but good luck. Which didn't happen. The instruction manual doesn't say anything about them. Theres no instruction on which files to further install. Oh-yeah and theres a hot key.the space bar tells what level your at.found that by accident.
The instruction manuals way not covering what I need and thats to simply download an area. If your lucky enough to see a red block any try to transfer that area to your gps might ask you to pan down to another level. I had to write to NG. The first Install disc is obvious enough but the next 9 aren't. No region, no area, nothing. When they wrote back I couldn't get the thing to do what they suggested-which was some notification would prompt me to install a certain disc.
So, that'll be a guess and click. I'm still trying to get this to work.way too much important info left out and it's been days now. Be ready to be confused when you get this package of 10 disc's. The manuals not clear at all about how to down load maps to your gps. I installed all 10 disc's while waiting for a responce.then found out I shouldn't do this.
